Beyonce | LG Arena Birmingham | 27/04/13

On Saturday I travelled back up to Birmingham from Uni for a very exciting evening!
My sister, my Dad and I went to see BEYONCE.
What can I say about Mrs Carter?
She is the dogs bollocks and a rather sexy lady.
I think I love Beyonce. Girl crush indeedy!

Before the show started there were a few hilarious happenings. The support act Luke James was awfully cheesy, stripping on stage and handing out roses to the crowd. He wasn't really my cup of tea. Then  just before the show the last people were coming in, including 2 very gay guys who walked in their hot pants and bare chests covered with crop tops and denim waistcoats. The one end of the arena behind the middle stage was empty so they took advantage of this and started booty dancing, popping and slut dropping all over the place. Of course we all cheered them on as it was hilariously good. They then obviously got spotted by a tour manager due to the massive screams and attention from the crowd and were led to the front of the arena near the stage.
Next gig I go to I am going to dance so I can go up near the stage! I better start practicing!

It was an amazing concert and Beyonce's voice was perfection, even though she had a sore throat. I have never heard anyone sing so well when they are ill. She sung many songs; old and new and danced an awful lot. Then she was singing and dancing at the same time. I was breathing heavily just from jumping up and down, so how she was singing at the same time I will never know.

The videos during the costume changes got a tad annoying. I think she had 8 during the whole of the show. However it was exciting to see what she was wearing every time she reappeared. The dancers that were on stage during the changes were amazing too. I think she called them 'The Twins', they had craze afro hair and were, if you hadn't already guessed twins!

My favourite songs of the night were Love On Top, Survivour, Irreplaceable, Single Ladies, Crazy in Love, Freakum Dress and Halo...Well I loved them all, how could I not choose them all. For Halo she  introduced it by singing part of I Will Always Love You by Whitney Houston, it was perfect. I will always love you too Bey. I did film it, but I am singing in the background, which is not god as it sounds guys :)
One of my highlights of the night was definitely watching my dad do the single ladies dance down the isle. Sorry Beyonce you have competition ;) We were at the very back of the arena. Literally there was a wall behind us but the view was still amazing and it meant that we could dance as much as we wanted without people thinking we were weird!

Has anyone else been to see Beyonce?
